I think that Tohoku is world of mistery for those who was born in western Japan.
It really was wonder land for me!

We especially enjoyed Gono Line which runs along the coastal line of Aomori through Akita to feel that we were on roller coaster.
今回の旅行は全部鉄道で移動。とっても楽しかったです。
特に青森から秋田の海岸沿いを走る五能線。
まるでジェットコースターのようでした。

Wonderful photos! I visited Tohouku in 2004 and I thought it was very beautiful. Sometimes it reminded me of New England, but only sometimes -- mostly it was like nowhere I had ever been before. And the food was great! I'm glad you had an opportunity to take a trip with your husband. Happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHi, Annie,
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time to visit Tohoku and I felt in love with Aomori prefecture: Is it a bit similar to New England?
I wish to go there someday (especially Rhode Island)...
I hope you will come to New England some day!
